The function of a building is our key ideology and space is also more important. preventing wastage of space and design with functionalism is a major concept. I think it’s about how innovatively we formulate the idea is to improve use day to day life as well as the quality without escalating the costs. The function should be formulated in a way to make the design of the building meaningful. A building should be aesthetically pleasing in a manner, however, if the building compromises on functions then it becomes an obstacle on the street.

 

Space is a site for human interaction, culture, and games. These activities determine the spatial design more greatly and will have a direct influence on the user. So we feel the building should be designed from inside to outside like where forms follow function. We should increase the efficiency of space/building by light, material that the construction techniques followed in of a building. In a more practical manner utility is the key to happiness achieved from function. So Utilitarianism in architecture becomes functionalism, which defines that the building should be articulated based on the purpose .So we believe the functionality of the building and space is important rather than the grandeur or aesthetics.
